If you are experiencing problems with any of our products please read the following descriptions to see what category fits your particular situation and the possible best course of action. Some of the categories may seem a little funny but our pickups and electronics can be 20+ years old in instruments made by people no longer building instruments, or installed by repair people who are no longer doing installations.

1. The instrument is of an unknown make. The pickups and/or electronics in the instrument appear to be/are old.

2. The builder is known but no longer building. The pickups and/or electronics in the instrument appear to be/are old.

3. The instrument is of an unknown make. The pickups and/or electronics in the instrument appear to be/are not very old.

4. The instrument maker/manufacturer is known and still building. The pickups and/or electronics in the instrument appear to be/are not very old.

Epoxy cast pickups and good solid state electronics are extremely durable. In most cases the instrument can easily be made functional again. However, we will need enough information to enable us or the appropriate builder or installer to cure the problem.
